The Subassembly Assembler position proficiently produces quality assemblies in one (1) of the following work centers including gear case, spinners, chain shields, and/or final subassembly.

Key Responsibilities

RESULTS | 50%

Critical

• Verifies assembly by visual inspection and utilization of measurements specified on prints and procedures.
• Completes work assignments within standard guidelines of time and quality.
• Performs quality checks on work completed.

Productivity / Job Knowledge

• Assembles some mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Accurately reads prints and assembles parts accordingly.
• Assists with training of others as needed.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly, performs required PM's on machines and equipment and reports all non-conformities to Line Lead, Supervisor or Maintenance until the problem has been rectified.

• Demonstrates a good attendance record; is aware of the impact that missing work will have on the customer as well as co-workers.

Requirements

Qualifications and Essential Skills:

• 0-2 years of experience; previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required; must be able to use computer systems to look-up information, clock-in/clock-out, and report work activities. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Good math skills are required; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/32".
• Experience with hand tools including power tools such as impact drivers and drills.
