Summary Total annual salary will consist of a GP Base Pay rate combined with a non-locality 'Market Pay' supplement. Market pay is determined by an Activity Compensation Panel of peer physicians who will evaluate the selectee's clinical specialty, board certifications, regional market data, and depth of professional experience. Market Pay is then reviewed every 24 months to ensure compensation remains competitive and aligned with the local healthcare market. - Performs the full range of professional dental services including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Modifies conventional treatment approaches for medically compromised patients and documents care in approved electronic systems
- Serves as a clinical consultant to all staff members.
- Coordinates multidisciplinary care with specialty providers to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Reviews workload, treatment outcomes, access-to-care metrics, and clinical quality indicators to identify trends and recommend operational improvements
- Evaluates emerging dental technologies, restorative materials, digital workflows, and evidence-based treatment methodologies for implementation.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

- This position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
- This position requires that you obtain and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from, or in accordance with, the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. Advanced certification (e.g., ALS) does not supersede BLS.

- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random drug testing, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- Applicants must be able to fulfill credentialing requirements and obtain and maintain appropriate/relevant clinical privileges.
- Tier 1: minimum $124,308 - maximum $315,000 salary
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

- This position requires a 1 year probationary period or 2 during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
