Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts), every other weekend, 36 hours per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding quickly to any changes
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency interventions as needed
• Educate new parents on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for every family
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and adhere to all safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Utah (or compact) required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of labor and delivery procedures and neonatal resuscitation
• Proficient in fetal monitoring interpretation
• Skilled in EPIC electronic health records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent patient education and support skills
