We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our growing team. If you have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment and take pride in quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

This position involves underground utility installation, site preparation, grading, and excavation work on residential and commercial projects. We're looking for someone who can work safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including backhoes, dozers, trenchers, excavators, and skid steers.
• Perform excavation for underground utility installations.
• Install sewer, storm drain, fire line, water, and septic systems.
• Perform grading, trenching, backfilling, and general earthwork.
• Read and follow construction plans, grade stakes, and utility layouts.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Experience with underground utility installation, including:
• • Sewer systems
  • Storm drains
  • Water lines
  • Fire lines
  • Septic systems
• Experience with grading and general dirt work.
• Strong understanding of excavation safety and trenching practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Class A CDL is a plus.
