Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Analyst Supply Chain Analyst serves as the primary contact for their assigned Principals and assists Principals, warehouses, sales, and other internal departments in resolving issues and inquiries. The role consistently meets KPI requirements to deliver industry‑leading service levels and returns on investment. The Analyst partners with team members to explore process improvements while embodying the company’s core values in day‑to‑day operations. Responsibilities Manage assigned Principals and fully understand rules, product attributes, contact information, and major customers. Maintain inventory turns, service levels, and slow‑moving stock within set KPI targets. Run analysis as needed to confirm stocking locations and minimum order quantities remain appropriate. Update forecasts monthly and proactively engage sales on changing customer demand. Develop and use sales models for "A" COGS items. Ensure Principal Playbooks remain accurate. Submit monthly Principal expectations and On Time in Full revision summaries. Maintain updated reorder reports, including demand movement, lead time updates, and removal of irrelevant comments. Follow up on "C" item over‑order and expired stock reports consistently. Resolve conflicts by coordinating with team, warehouses, Principals, sales, and internal departments. Assist team members as needed to achieve department goals. Lead process improvement projects as part of 90‑day action items and provide weekly updates. Understand how job responsibilities affect other departments and the company’s success. Participate in ongoing education to enhance personal and job skills (e.g., monthly APICS meetings, webinars, cross‑training). Attend and participate in department and joint customer service meetings. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives. Take part in annual physical inventories at warehouses when required. Complete other assigned support work. Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building strong internal and external relationships. Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities. Ability to meet deadlines and goals through prioritization and effective time management. Proven track record of supporting internal and external departments with valuable contributions as part of a team. Proven ability to manage inventory investment efficiently through strategic planning. Professional demeanor while meeting deadlines. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel. Experience with ERP systems. Desired Qualifications Lean or Six Sigma experience. Customer service experience. Member of APICS or ISM. APICS certification. Work Environment The job operates on a hybrid schedule, rotating between in‑office and remote environments, and utilizes standard office equipment. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work Full‑time position, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.
