Schneider Electric has a fantastic hybrid opportunity for an early-career professional to join a dynamic and results-orientated team as an M&A Manager, in Boston, MA. The role reports to the: Senior VP, Head of Global M&A.In this role, you'll lead strategic transactions that fuel our growth and enhance our competitive position. If you thrive on complex deal-making and want to shape organizational direction through high-impact M&A, this role is for you.As an M&A Manager, you will join the team as a junior member and gain exposure to a wide range of corporate transactions. You will work on multiple deals in parallel, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the business, as well as with internal subject matter experts and external advisors.Responsibilities and Deliverables:Analyze industry reports and equity capital market research to derive relevant informationBusiness plan modelling and Group financial impact analysis:Interpret and present complex financial data to senior members of the team & senior internal leaders (Senior VPs and above, including Executive Committee members)Develop financial models to simulate possible scenarios and show validity of investment on any dealLead interactions with key transaction stakeholders and counterparties on financial modelling topicsValuation: prepare valuation materials on deals using all relevant methodologies, assessing and predicting financial risks and returnsOwn the financial due diligence workstream on any dealAssist other members of the team on other due diligence workstreams & build this expertise over timeLead and or assist in the preparation of presentations and other materials for the business teams, the Group acquisition committee or internal meetings with senior internal leaders (Senior VPs and above, including Executive Committee members)Working with business and corporate functions to ensure handover to integration team post-closingCandidate Qualifications Requirements:1–3 years’ experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, internal audit, and/or M&A/corporate development (top-tier firms preferred)Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills, with excellent presentation capabilitiesBachelor’s degree required; Master’s a plusFluent in English; additional languages are a plusTo note: candidates will be tested on financial modeling throughout the recruitment processAdditional Requirements for the Role:Interest in Schneider Electric’s business, mission, and valuesStrong capacity to foster collaboration & networking, transversal work across the organizationStrong organizational and project management skills, with a structured approach to workingGood attention to detail. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
