Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Outdoor Shopping Center in Anaheim, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will also support visitors and tenants with strong communication and customer service while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security-related concerns, offering directions and assistance to guests while supporting location rules and expectations.
• Assist with observing vendor, delivery, and/or visitor activity, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
