Product ManagerWe are seeking a product manager to join the growing product team for Fidelity's private company equity management platform, Fidelity Private Shares, within Fidelity Labs. Our team delivers innovative technology, robust industry experience and expertise, and seamless service to our customers.In this key role, you will influence the broader strategic decisions and roadmaps, ensure alignment of development work through ongoing planning and prioritization, iteration, and innovation, and bring teams together to drive results. You will also be committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring fresh thinking to your role.You'll be responsible for a range of Product Management activities, including:Synthesize product feedback, market trends, and research into clear product requirementsResearch regulations, best practices, and other subject matter to inform product requirements and definitionDefine features and create product specification documentationConsult with technical team to assess feasibility, clarify use cases, and guide development of features and enhancementsDraft or review product content for accuracy and comprehensionConduct product acceptance testing and validationCommunicate release information to sales, marketing & support teamsThe Expertise and Skills You BringBackground in equity management, stock plan administration, corporate law, venture capital, or related fieldFamiliarity with startup and private company ecosystem6+ years of work experienceBachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent practical experience)Strong communication and ability to make complex concepts accessibleMotivation to work collaboratively to drive product initiatives from idea to marketAdaptable and able to manage multiple prioritiesHigh degree of self-motivation and natural curiosity to learn new thingsFidelity Labs is Fidelity Investments' in-house fintech incubator with a mission to build new businesses to drive growth for Fidelity. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$180,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
