Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

**Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.**
**Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract

Certs: Do they need BLS (will they have contact w/ patients?) NO
MLT or MT certified: ASCP and AMT Will take MLS o MLT but MLS preferred
Do they need ASCP (American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science) or AMT (American Medical Technologists)? ASCP,AMT
What areas do they cover?
(Hematology/Serology, Chemistry/Coag, Micro, & Blood Bank) All
Do they need to be a Generalist? Yes
Do they need to perform Phlebotomy? Yes
Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties drawing, processing, organization, attention to detail, ordering supplies, calibration
LIS System (ie. Polytech, Avalon, Orchard Software, Apollo, Prolis, BioTracer, etc.) Cerner
EMR/Specific Equipment used in each area? EMR EPIC, equipment: SYSMEX,DIMENSION EXL,CEPHEID, ACL TOP350,TRIAGE

Shifts & Scheduling varies- opener is at 7, closer stays til 6:30
Weekend Requirement yes- rotation, SATURDAY(7-12)+ONC; SUNDAY 07:00-07:00 ONC
Holiday Requirement yes
Call or Standby Call Requirement: call is at least once a week and one weekend per month. Sometimes twice a week based on rotation. The weekend is split, so most will take call Sat and Sun then the following Friday.
Call back time: 30 min response time
