About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified MRI Tech in Somerville, New Jersey, 08876!

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required upon start.
• BLS certification required upon start.
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. First-time MRI technologists are accepted.
• Experience performing a full spectrum of MRI studies for inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations.
• Experience with GE 450W and GE Signa Excite MRI scanners preferred.
• Ability to chart in EPIC.
• Willingness to adhere to unit dress code (black scrubs).

Preferred Qualifications:

• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure preferred.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 13:30 – 22:00, Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30pm–10:00pm, Wednesdays and Fridays 2:30pm–10:00pm, Saturdays 7:30am–6:00pm.
• Weekend requirements scheduled as needed.
• On-call requirements include one 8.5-hour day shift per week and one 24-hour weekend shift every five weeks.
• Manager is flexible on schedule. Block scheduling may be an option; discuss during interview.
• Must be able to float as needed within the client system when required.
