Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (shift times vary between 07:00-17:00). Weekend coverage required (every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule). Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period. Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Highlights:

• Work in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 407 staffed beds and Level II Trauma designation
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 pediatric patients focusing on discharge planning and care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and more
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records system in a state-of-the-art healthcare environment
• 91-day assignment with comprehensive orientation and support

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required (must be in hand prior to offer)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not substitute)
• Pediatric and/or NICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification preferred
• ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
• Willingness to float within case management services as needed
