About the Role

Candidates for the Dean of Nursing position at the company should have a Doctorate in Nursing or a related field, with a Master's degree considered for those with significant relevant experience. An active RN license in the State of Florida is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' in nursing education, with at least 3 years' in a leadership or administrative role, and a proven track record in nursing program accreditation, regulatory compliance, and improving program outcomes. Essential skills include leadership, team management, academic program development, and a strong student-centered philosophy. The role demands excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, as well as experience in budget and resource management. The candidate should be adaptable, innovative, and committed to professional development in the field of nursing education and healthcare.
