Project Manager / Estimator - Civil Construction

This Boston-area contractor takes a very different approach. They still perform major MassDOT and infrastructure work, including:

• Roads
• Bridges
• Airports
• Dams

But the typical workday runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. And unlike most contractors, management actively pushes employees to maintain a work-life balance. 

As a PM/Estimator, you'd bid work and then run that work from the office with the support of superintendents, assistant project managers, and senior leadership (majority of time in-office).

The President will even walk through the office and telling people to stop working and go home. That's not a slogan. That's the culture. 

The salary is not be the highest number you'll find on the market. But when you calculate your compensation by the hour instead of the year, you're probably closer than you'd think (and you get your life back).
