CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our radiology team in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will perform a variety of imaging studies and ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scanning procedures while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient during scans and assist as necessary.
• Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Document findings accurately using our EMR and PACS systems.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in using GE and Siemens scanning equipment is preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced radiology environment.
• Must be able to perform IV starts as part of the imaging process.

Work Environment

This position is located in the City, State area and includes responsibilities in outpatient imaging settings. The department is equipped with five scanning rooms, and staff will collaborate closely with radiologists.

Shifts

The role requires availability for evening shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, specifically on Wednesdays through Fridays. Weekend and holiday work may also be required.

Additional Information

• Department specific orientation process will be provided.
• Scrubs will be provided; the dress code is black scrubs.
• Expect potential floating to other locations within Zone 3 as needed.
• This role may involve a cancellation policy of up to four shifts for assignments lasting 13 weeks or less than three shifts for shorter assignments.
