Job Title

Registered Nurse – Oncology (Medical Surgical)

Location

New Brunswick, NJ

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Oncology unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Administer chemotherapy and oncology-specific treatments in accordance with unit protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within skillset to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage based on unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
• Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are accepted
