Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 17-week IMCU Stepdown contract requiring a GA or compact RN license, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and at least 2 years of experience on night shifts.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital setting in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) serving as a bridge between PCU and ICU,
• Patient population includes vented patients and those requiring critical drips,
• Patient ratio is 3:1,
• Proficiency in medication management is essential for this unit,
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a,
• Charting system: MEDITECH,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• BSN is not required,
• Driver's license required for consideration,
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (distance measured from address on driver's license),

Additional Information

• Candidates must not have been employed by this facility within the last 12 months,
• RTO and scheduling requests are honored only if submitted and confirmed at the time of assignment start,
• Orientation is 16 hours
