Position Surgical Elite Avondale is hiring a Full Time OR RN in a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality care for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Job Summary Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients of all ages in the operating room. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities designated by the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room and/or Director of Nursing, including serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Shift hours may vary prior to 6:30 am and beyond 5:00 pm based on scheduling needs. The facility is typically closed on Saturdays, but occasional Saturday work may be required with notice. On‑call is not required. Baccalaureate degree preferred. Five (5) years’ experience in surgery as a circulator. Two (2) years’ experience in surgery management which includes pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op care. Current Arizona RN License – BLS. CNOR preferred – independent decision‑making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
