Job Opportunity: Musculoskeletal Radiologist
Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist to enhance our Radiology Department, affiliated with a prestigious medical school.
Key Responsibilities- Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound and procedures.
- Conduct musculoskeletal MR and CT imaging, along with interpreting radiographs.
- Provide coverage across various locations within the health system, including sites in Manhattan, Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk.
- Participate in remote work opportunities 1-2 days per week, with weekend on-call duties handled remotely.
- Engage in academic activities, with potential for an appointment at the affiliated medical school based on academic credentials.
- M.D. degree with certification from the American Board of Radiology.
- Completion of a dedicated fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging.
The musculoskeletal division comprises 16 fellowship-trained radiologists who deliver specialized services across multiple tertiary and community hospitals, as well as ten outpatient imaging centers from Manhattan to the eastern end of Long Island. Our division is also involved in the education of 70 radiology residents from three different residency programs and 2 musculoskeletal imaging fellows. Annually, we interpret over 50,000 MRI exams, 18,000 CT scans, 3,000 diagnostic ultrasound exams, and 3,000 image-guided procedures.
