Maintenance Technician

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Days & Nights) Job Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and plant equipment in a high-speed, continuous production environment. This role requires hands-on experience in heavy manufacturing and the ability to work effectively in a challenging, industrial setting. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair machines to ensure optimal performance and uptime Test and troubleshoot electrical systems (minimum 480V); adjust or replace components as needed Install motors, heating systems, and various electrical control equipment Lead preventative maintenance tasks and project execution Operate forklifts, man lifts, and work safely at heights Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols Perform general building and grounds maintenance Follow all safety and environmental regulations Environment & Work Conditions: This is a heavy manufacturing role— residential, strictly automation, or strictly installation experience is not applicable Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, including exposure to extreme heat, cold, moisture, chemicals, fumes, and moving machinery Must be comfortable operating in a difficult environment around chemicals and in variable weather conditions Requires regular lifting (up to 75 lbs), navigating uneven terrain, and working in elevated positions Preferred Qualifications: Experience with galvanizing or metal processing operations Familiarity with 3-phase motors, air compressors, and overhead cranes Minimum of 1 year of overhead crane operation experience Previous shift work experience, including 12-hour rotating shifts (7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM) Benefits Overview: Competitive 401(k) match Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short-Term Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Additional Information: Pre-employment drug screening is required.
