About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified Mammography Tech in Craig, Colorado, 81625!

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality breast imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role includes patient care, equipment operation, and quality assurance within the imaging department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography procedures following department protocols
  • Ensure compliance with FDA and radiation safety (ALARA) standards
  • Maintain QA records, accreditation documentation, and reporting systems
  • Review patient history and provide education before procedures
  • Verify physician orders and patient identification
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment
  • Assist with workflow improvements and departmental operations
  • Maintain accurate records in EHR/PACS
  • Support cross-training and assist in other imaging modalities if needed

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT (R) & ARRT (M) required
  • BLS/BCLS certification required
  • Active State License required
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
