About the Role:

We are looking for a highly hands-on AI Engineer who can move quickly from idea to production. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical experience building Agentic AI solutions, developing AI-powered applications, and evaluating model and agent performance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an environment with evolving requirements, experimenting with new AI models and tools, and taking ownership of solutions end-to-end across the frontend, backend, and AI layers.

You will have significant autonomy to make technical and product decisions, rapidly prototype ideas, and turn successful concepts into scalable production solutions.
Job Title: AI Engineer
Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Agentic AI applications and AI-powered products.
• Develop end-to-end solutions spanning frontend, backend, APIs, AI services, and data/integration layers.
• Build and integrate AI agents using modern LLMs, agent frameworks, tools, and orchestration patterns.
• Design and implement evaluation frameworks and automated evals to measure agent and model quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Rapidly prototype new AI capabilities and turn successful prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using Python and/or TypeScript.
• Contribute to frontend development when required to deliver complete end-to-end experiences.
• Make pragmatic architecture and product decisions when requirements are incomplete or evolving.
• Work independently to identify problems, evaluate potential solutions, and drive implementation.
• Experiment with emerging AI models, frameworks, coding tools, and techniques.
• Leverage AI-assisted development and coding tools extensively to improve engineering productivity.
• Build reusable components, tools, and patterns for future AI applications.
• Monitor and continuously improve AI applications in production.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design, development, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with modern full-stack development experience.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying Agentic AI applications.
• Experience working with LLMs, AI agents, tool calling, orchestration, and AI application development.
• Experience designing and running AI/model/agent evaluations (evals).
• Ability to build solutions end-to-end, from prototype through production.
• Comfortable working across frontend, backend, APIs, and AI services as required.
• Ability to operate effectively with incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
• Strong independent problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
• Experience rapidly prototyping and iterating on new ideas.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new AI technologies quickly.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with modern agent frameworks and AI orchestration platforms.
• Experience building production-grade AI applications.
• Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, tool use, and AI workflow orchestration.
• Experience with AI evaluation methodologies and observability.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containers, APIs, microservices, and modern deployment practices.

Location: Remote

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$200,000 - 220,000 annually]/[$110.00-120.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
