Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical ICU setting for an adult to geriatric population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2–3
• Manage complex ICU diagnoses including but not limited to sepsis/septic shock, respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, GI bleed/hemorrhagic shock, DKA, acute kidney disease, pulmonary embolus, cardiac arrhythmias, and hypertensive emergencies
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including CRRT, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), chest tube management, bronchoscopies, lumbar punctures, central line and arterial line maintenance, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous bladder irrigations
• Administer and monitor continuous IV infusions including pressors, paralytics, sedatives, and cardiac drips
• Document accurately using Epic and communicate effectively utilizing SBAR methodology
• Float within the facility as needed within scope of practice; work every other weekend and required major holidays per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Familiarity with CRRT and Targeted Temperature Management protocols
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
