Warehouse Clerk

Overview:

Empower Solar is a full service, residential solar installer looking experienced and driven individuals to join our ever-expanding team. We are currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Clerk. This position is responsible for pulling assigned material for each solar installation, receiving incoming shipments, Cleanliness of warehouse, loading vehicles, and assisting in Inventory Count.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License
• Previous Warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in Solar industry is a plus.
• Experience in Customer Service.

Skills:

• Must be self-driven, highly motivated. Has to be goal and task oriented.
• Knowledge of residential construction.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a team player and a people person who enjoys talking to customers.
• Solution minded.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• High level of organizational skills and professionalism.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Pull assigned job material based on pick list.
• Follow direction of Warehouse Manager.
• Receive incoming shipments.
• Open/Close warehouse when necessary.
• Assist with Inventory Counts.
• Keep Warehouse and parking lot clean and free of trash.
• Pick up material from supply houses and distributors when necessary.
• Follow through on assigned tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
• Always looking for ways to improve efficiency and communication to make the customer experience even better.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed.
