Quality Control Specialist

Description

AtWork Durant is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting products, identifying quality issues, and ensuring all materials and finished goods meet company and customer specifications.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
Perform quality checks using measuring tools and inspection equipment
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production teams
Assist with corrective actions and process improvements
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety procedures
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions

Qualifications:
Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Basic computer and documentation skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
