TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Gig Harbor, Washington, 98332!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year License: WA or Compact License required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: Telemetry experience Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The unit consists of 96 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-6. Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, PNA, and General Surgical cases. RNs are required to titrate drips, including Heparin, Blood, and IV fluids. Charge Nurse and House Supervisor roles are available. Nurse aides are present on the unit with ratios of 1:8-16. All RNs are responsible for monitoring telemetry capabilities and validating strips. Shifts are 12 hours, with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Weekend and holiday coverage will be determined based on unit needs. No call or standby requirements are in place. RNs may float within their scope as needed. Scrub color/dress code is navy top and bottom.
