Technical degree, vocational certification, or formal training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and SOPs. Knowledge of cGMP requirements, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices preferred. Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in a GMP-regulated, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food manufacturing, or similar production environment. Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing, packaging, and processing equipment. Hands-on experience with PLC-controlled equipment, electrical systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Experience performing preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Advanced troubleshooting skills involving PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and industrial automation systems. Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms. Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding, facility maintenance, and equipment installation. Strong root cause analysis (RCA), problem-solving, and continuous improvement experience. Ability to mentor junior technicians and effectively communicate across departments. Experience using CMMS software for work orders, maintenance tracking, and documentation. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts of 8 hours or more. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, squat, climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and enter confined spaces. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and material handling devices. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with production equipment and machinery. Job Duties Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing, packaging, and facility equipment to maximize uptime and production efficiency. Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, sensors, relays, and automation controls. Conduct preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and automated machinery. Complete equipment setups, changeovers, installations, upgrades, and process improvements while maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and SOPs. Utilize root cause analysis to identify failures, implement corrective actions, and improve equipment reliability. Accurately document maintenance activities, work orders, repairs, inspections, and inventory transactions within the CMMS system. Support maintenance team training, collaborate with production and engineering teams, and ensure compliance with safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
