IT Software Procurement Analyst - Hybrid

Job Summary (List Format):

• Responsible for procurement of IT-related goods and services, focusing on Software and SaaS.
• Specializes in end-to-end software acquisitions, contract renewals, license optimization, and software vendor negotiations.
• Evaluates IT vendors and contracts, including RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Provides recommendations for supplier selections based on research and evaluation.
• Supports business areas with evaluations of goods/services and negotiation guidance.
• Manages procurement functions for a range of IT products and services, including software, hardware, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, and managed services.
• Collaborates closely with IT, Legal, Finance, and InfoSec teams to ensure cost-efficiency, compliance, and effective SaaS operations.
• Applies knowledge of IT products/services, procurement rules, and financial principles to procurement activities.
• Works independently under general supervision, handling project-based procurement assignments of moderate difficulty.
• Ensures procurement actions are in the best interest of the state and comply with statewide procurement regulations.
• Minimum 3 years of IT software procurement experience required.
• Position is hybrid (initial onsite training, then primarily remote), contract-to-hire, and located in Phoenix, AZ. No relocation or sponsorship provided.
