Plant Engineering Manager

FPC is assisting a leading client who is seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to lead engineering, maintenance, and reliability functions at a fast‑paced, well‑established manufacturing site specializing in high‑performance surface overlays and bonding materials. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role drives asset management, capital execution, and continuous improvement across the facility. This opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on engineering or maintenance leader who thrives in an environment that values autonomy, cross‑functional collaboration, and true operational ownership. Salary Up to $130K + 10% Bonus with Stretch to 2 Key Responsibilities iesOwn all plant engineering assets, including capital budgeting, maintenance planning, and spending oversig ht.Lead plant capital projects from concept through installation and start up.Manage vendor relationships and evaluate equipment against technical and quality requiremen ts.Hire, direct, and develop maintenance team membe rs.Optimize workforce utilization, preventive/predictive maintenance, and equipment layout for efficien cy.Provide engineering support for plant improvements, including design work, cost analysis, and equipment selecti on.Advance automation, controls, and manufacturing systems to improve reliability and consisten cy.Participate in PHA, PSSR, HAZOP, and lead RCA/RCFA training and executi on.Ensure compliance with PSM requirements and fixed equipment inspection progra Requirements entsB.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering prefer red.5+ years in plant maintenance, engineering, or industrial manufactur ing.Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving ski lls.Proven commitment to safety and knowledge of OSHA, machine safeguarding, and L OTO.Ability to collaborate across all levels and respond to after‑hours emergenc ies.US Citizen or Green Card holder requi Preferred erredExperience with TPM, Six Sigma, Lean , 5S.Background in continuous or batch processes (Paper, Tissue, Non‑Wovens, Coatings, Engineered Wood, Printing, Chemical, e tc.).Experience with PSM program implementa #J-18808-Ljbffr
