Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Days

Working under the direction of the licensed nurse, the Certified Nurse Assistant provides nursing care within his/her scope of practice following unit specific standards of care and the policies and procedures of Corona Regional Medical Center.

Corona Regional Medical Center is a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: Current BLS (CPR) required. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to exercise phone etiquette and computer skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience as a Monitor Tech preferred or completion of dysrythmia for monitor techs course within 90 days. Completion of unit secretary course or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: 2 years of recent CNA experience required.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS: Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification, or be currently enrolled in accredited Registered Nursing program with completion of the 1st clinical curriculum semester. Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
