Duties Safely operate tractor-trailer dry van trailers and day cab trucks, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time deliveries across diverse locations Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and cargo to identify potential issues before departure or upon arrival Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving for freight transportation Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements as applicable Demonstrated ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform truck loading/unloading tasks efficiently Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures and safety protocols for dangerous goods Strong understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazard management standards Experience working with GPS navigation tools to optimize route planning in various driving conditions Work Location In person #J-18808-Ljbffr BWAAM
