About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Data Engineering to spearhead the launch of innovative new initiatives within a dynamic and high-growth environment. The successful candidate will be part of a new department that is backed and led by serial entrepreneurs with a strong track record in building high-impact technology ventures. This role offers maximum ownership, allowing the individual to have complete autonomy in architecting systems, driving strategy, and building from the ground up. The focus is on achieving strong market validation and scalable traction rapidly, with an emphasis on good ideas and fast execution. As the Head of Data Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and executing core initiatives in cutting-edge domains, such as renewable energy. This includes translating strategic vision into execution roadmaps, driving the implementation of solutions from prototype to production, and architecting scalable systems to support the department's growth. The ideal candidate will have a high-agency builder mindset, proven domain expertise, and a strong drive for end-to-end ownership. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, and the role is open to candidates based in Europe or the Americas, with the possibility of remote work or relocation.
