As a Screener with Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, maintain clear communication, and work with a collaborative team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or shipments entering designated areas in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, documentation, and authorized entry requirements for restricted operational areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, operational spaces, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
