Director of HyCO Operations Excellence The Woodlands, TX, United States | req33381 The Director of HyCO Operations Excellence is responsible for setting direction for the U.S. HyCO Operations Excellence team by defining and replicating best practices to ensure world class performance in areas such as process safety, process engineering, training, and sustainable production efficiency. This position collaborates with other global HyCO leaders, Engineering, Technical Operations leadership, R&D, GOE, and other global counterparts in HyCO plant operations. What you will enjoy doing* You will replicate best practices in process safety, efficiency improvements, cost-reduction programs, and reliability across HyCO operations Consult with engineering and project teams on the overall quality, reliability, and efficiency of new HyCO plant construction Support teams in making complex and/or controversial decisions, empower others to make decisions, and help U.S. HyCO leaders establish priorities that support business strategy Further, resolve critical issues and lead or consult on cross-functional and special project teams beyond the scope of the assigned function Participate in business development, operations management, and the development and implementation of new design approaches, tools, and best practices for operations Also, establish and maintain a global network of contacts; collaborate with engineering teams and global counterparts in the EU and APAC regions to share lessons learned and best practices, while supporting long-range capital planning and business plans What makes you great Background in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D.) You have 15+ years of relevant work experience; Chemical and/or Refining background preferred Moreover, demonstrated operations leadership experience preferred You are able to travel 15% domestically and internationally Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
