Derivatives Analyst

Location : Atlanta, GA 30309 or Houston, TX 77046 Job Overview :We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst (BA)/Esoteric Derivative Lifecycle Specialist SME with deep expertise in derivatives to support critical business growth in QIS/ OTC Swaps. This individual will partner with business, operations, technology, and external vendors support implementation activities and volume support. The role will serve as a subject matter expert for derivatives, helping ensure operational objectives are met and supported fully Key Responsibilitie s:Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure requirements are understood and translated into effective support solution s.Support testing activities, including test-case development, UAT coordination, and issue resolutio n.Serve as the primary SME for QIS Swaps and other complex/esoteric derivative products, providing end-to-end expertise across trade booking, lifecycle event management, valuations, collateral, settlements, reconciliations, and operational suppor t.Partner with Portfolio Managers, Trading, Operations, Technology, Fund Accounting, Custodians, Brokers, and external vendors to support business growth, resolve operational issues, and ensure accurate and scalable processing of complex derivative transaction s.Documentation and implementation of business requirements, operating model enhancements, workflow improvements, and platform initiatives to support increasing QIS Swap volumes and evolving product capabilitie s.Act as an escalation point for risk-sensitive lifecycle events, trade exceptions, margin and collateral issues, valuation inquiries, and reporting impacts, while driving process controls, operational readiness, and continuous improvement across the derivatives support mode Required Experien ce:10–15+ years of experience in financial servi ces5–7+ years of experience in derivatives and derivatives lifecycles concepts/supp ortStrong understanding of transaction management, trade support, derivative lifecycle, collateral management, and margin proces sesAbility to bridge business and technology teams and communicate effectively with senior stakehold ersStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement ski llsSystems & To ols:Experience with one or more of the following platforms is prefer red:Aladdin, Charles River, FCM Platforms, OTC industry tech, SSB ALPHA, MS S uiteSuccess Crit eria:High-quality business and functional su pportIdentification and resolution of process gaps and implementation i ssuesEffective coordination between business, operations, technology, and ve ndorsDelivery of business solutions aligned with product e #J-18808-Ljbffr The Planet Group
