Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 1st Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent Must-Have: - Excellent customer service - Critical thinking - Communication - Organizational skills - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. This role incorporates essential functions of nursing care that promote patient safety and optimal health outcomes.
