Apply soon before it closes Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with Level I trauma experience for a night shift hospital OR position. Details , Level I trauma teaching hospital OR setting supporting general, ortho, neuro, and trauma surgeries Duties include scrubbing cesarean sections and cases across multiple surgical specialties Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 On-call requirement of a minimum of 6 days within a 6-week period Weekend coverage required for a minimum of 3 weekends per schedule High Spanish-speaking patient population with translator staff available for support Requirements Minimum of 3 years of surgical technology experience required Experience in neuro and ortho surgical specialties required Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based acute care experience required BLS certification required Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required License required if applicable Multi-State License accepted Experience scrubbing multiple surgical specialties preferred Prior travel healthcare experience required One supervisory reference required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Local candidates accepted at local bill rate within a 50-mile radius Must reside outside a 55-mile radius to qualify for travel pay rate RTO limited to 5 days or less, must be submitted with initial application and reflected in confirmation documents Any prior legal action must be disclosed at time of consideration Approximately 4-8 hours of non-billable orientation modules required prior to start, factored into 12 hours of non-billable orientation time Block scheduling is not accommodated for this position These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
