About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Previous electrophysiology experience, including scrubbing various electrophysiology procedures (ablations, devices). Ability to monitor patients is a plus. Description: This is a fast-paced electrophysiology lab. The facility has a total of 315 beds. The unit is equipped with advanced technology and management emphasizes teamwork. Patient safety and quality care are top priorities. Common procedures performed include ablations for atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, and atrioventricular node; as well as implanting pacemakers, ICDs, biventricular devices, ILRs, and Watchman devices. The lab has been recently renovated. Work weeks total 36-40 hours from Monday to Friday. Staff members enjoy alternating days off each week. This unit is recognized for being one of the busiest electrophysiology programs. The team is known for collaborating effectively with physicians.
