About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping Kentucky’s little ones improve their overall physical function and mobility. You will assess patients' physical abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote healing and prevent further injury. Your work will involve collaborating with Kentucky Early Intervention System (KEIS) professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and adapting treatments based on patient progress and feedback. You will also educate patients and their families on exercises and lifestyle modifications to achieve optimal health of the patient. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing patients' quality of life and enabling them to gain independence in their daily activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Kentucky.
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy and therapy techniques.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work with the pediatric population.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and limitations.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with families and other KEIS professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
