Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse – Psychiatric specialty in Manchester, New Hampshire. This travel assignment begins 07/06/2026 and runs for several weeks with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts are 08:00 AM–04:30 PM (08:00–16:30). Work setting is an acute psychiatric facility delivering inpatient care and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care for individuals in an acute psychiatric setting under licensed supervision.
- Monitor mental status, vital signs, and overall patient condition; document changes in the medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications as authorized by scope of practice and facility policy; document administration and responses.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; contribute to treatment planning and daily care coordination.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment; adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (NH) or eligible to practice in New Hampshire.
- Completion of an approved practical nursing program.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1) Psychiatric care or acute care experience preferred; 2) strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work the listed shift and respond to unit needs in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and de-escalation techniques.
