Quality Assurance Final Inspector

Our client in Milpitas is currently seeking a Quality Assurance candidate with experience in the following areas: Swing, and Day shift vailable! 

- 1–2 years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) -Rework PCBA -Texting PCBA Boar -IPC-610 Cert

- A stable work history with good tenure at previous employers

- 1–2 years of experience identifying solder defects

- 2–3 years of experience working with components (identifying good, bad, or damaged parts)

- Experience with AI is considered a plus!!!

Responsibilities

 PERFORM INSPECTION OF PRODUCTS TO MAKE SURE THEY MEET QUALITY ASSURANCE STANDARDS
 READ AND FOLLOW VISUAL AIDS, ENGINEERING CHANGE NOTICES, MPI, AND DEVIATIONS
 USE DRAWING TO INSPECT SMT COMPONENTS & PTH PARTS ON PCBA UNDER MICROSCOPE PER MPI AND IPC-610
STANDARDS
 CHECK POLARITY OF PARTS INSTALLED ON PCBA
 CATCH ANY DEFECTS FOR QUALITY PER DOCUMENTS
 CHECK SOLDER JOINT AND WORKMANSHIP
 ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE PROBLEMS/QUALITY ISSUE TO COWORKERS/SUPERVISORS
 EXPERIENCE WITH DEFECT DETECTION (DX) SYSTEMS AND X-RAY INSPECTION EQUIPMENT IS A PLUS.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends

Skills

• Quality Control (2 years of experience is required)
• Quality Assurance (2 years of experience is required)
• Soldering (2 years of experience is preferred)
• Electronic Assembling (2 years of experience is required)
