Each day, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve a wide variety of maintenance and repair issues, ranging from machine setup to the replacement of critical parts. You will use your mechanical aptitude to work with electromechanical components, maintain accurate repair documentation, and manage parts inventory.This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with their hands and are passionate about detail. While we hope to find technicians with previous experience, we understand this is a unique trade. Quality Sewing has a mentor-led, hands-on training program for all new technicians. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience repairing electromechanical devices, such as appliances, cars, and ATMs, you will love this work! Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated, full-time Sewing Machine Repair Technician to join our service team in Pasco, WA. Your main responsibility will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of sewing machines.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and resolve maintenance and repair issues on various sewing machine models.Machine Setup & Records: Set up new machines and maintain accurate documentation of machine repairs and parts.Inventory Control: Maintain inventory of critical parts and submit orders as needed.Skill Advancement: Expand technical knowledge through ongoing manufacturer and in-house training.Qualifications & SkillsEducation/Experience: 2-year technical degree or equivalent repair experience (2+ years preferred).Technical Aptitude: Experience performing maintenance on electromechanical devices (sewing machine repair experience is a huge plus).Document Literacy: Ability to read service manuals, parts catalogs, and circuit diagrams.Precision Tools: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and tools.Key Traits: Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and close attention to detail.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Pay & BenefitsCompensation: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).Benefits: Health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company matching, paid time off (PTO), performance bonuses, employee discounts.Work ScheduleDays: Monday – Friday Seattle, Tukwila, Renton, Federal Way
