As the Housekeeping Coordinator, you'll support the day-to-day coordination of housekeeping operations while helping ensure guest rooms, public spaces, and operational tasks are organized, communicated, and completed efficiently. This role is perfect for someone who's highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You'll help coordinate housekeeping communication, room status updates, work assignments, guest requests, and operational reporting while supporting housekeeping leadership and hotel teams throughout the day. What you'll be doing

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations including room assignments, room status updates, operational communication, and housekeeping workflow support.
• Maintain communication between Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and hotel leadership teams to support seamless hotel operations.
• Track guest room status, arrivals, departures, VIP rooms, out-of-order rooms, and housekeeping priorities throughout shifts.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, operational concerns, radio calls, and housekeeping communication needs.
• Assist with administrative tasks including reporting, data entry, scheduling support, inventory tracking, and operational documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping logs, work orders, lost and found records, room inspection updates, and operational systems accurately.
• Support housekeeping leadership with onboarding coordination, operational communication, team assignments, and daily department organization.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, operational equipment, and department organization as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization across housekeeping offices, storage areas, and operational workspaces.
• Support VIP arrivals, group business, room readiness coordination, and special operational projects as needed.
• Help foster a collaborative, energetic, and guest-focused culture aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What great looks like

• Previous housekeeping, hospitality, hotel operations, administrative, front desk, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience using hotel operational systems, PMS systems, housekeeping management software, Microsoft Office, or reporting tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on operational accuracy and guest readiness.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple hotel departments.
• Professional, positive, and service-focused mindset.
• Ability to remain organized and calm during high-volume operational periods.
• Strong administrative and coordination skills with the ability to manage operational reporting and documentation accurately.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and operational support as needed.
