**Experience and Licensure Requirements:** - Must have 12 months perm Emergency Room (ER) experience. - Must have a PERMANENT Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission. - Must have 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferably within one location but not required). **Certifications:** - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required. - Required certifications must be ACTIVE and in hand at the time of submission. Pending certifications will not be accepted. **Reference Requirements:** - One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Coworker references will not be considered. **Testing and Compliance:** - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both assessments. Travelers will get 2 attempts maximum to pass, otherwise will be canceled. - Background (BG) hits or open cases will result in non-acceptance. Facility does not accept any license hits. - Nurses and Certified Surgical Technicians (CSTs) are exempt from Nicotine-Free facility requirements temporarily. All other travelers must be nicotine-free with a Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, updated annually. - IMPORTANT: BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. **Vaccine Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine Required. Medical/Religious Exemptions only. - Flu Vaccine Required. Medical/Religious Exemptions only. **Additional Requirements:** - PBDS Assessment is waived. - Travelers may only be submitted for one job at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System. - Travel experience is not required. - Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate. - Hand-on Annual Competency and Module completion are required as per facility specifications.
