Job Summary:
Regal Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a 172-bed skilled nursing facility located in Hockessin, DE, is seeking a Per-Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation department. As a valued member of our team, you will provide direct resident treatment, educate residents and caregivers, and contribute to the delivery of quality care.
Responsibilities:
Under a physician’s order, provide direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care Provide excellent training for residents and caregivers Document services provided within Rehab Optima on a timely basis Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations Exhibit courtesy, compassion, and respect to residents, families, caregivers, and co-workers Participate in clinical program development and implementation Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program Participate in quality improvement activities as needed May perform additional assigned administrative duties Educational Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited program approved by your professional association Current licensure by the applicable state agency Experience Required:
