Weekend Overnight Residential Worker

Company Real House, Inc. Position Type Full Time/ Part Time Reports To Program Manager General Nature of Position The Residential Worker is responsible for carrying out the day‑to‑day functions in the house, ensuring the well‑being and safety of residents, and maintaining equipment and facilities. Essential Job Functions Track unusual and major incidents Participate in staff meetings and appropriate other meetings Be on‑call Perform other related duties as assigned Provide support and guidance to individuals in the house to ensure safety and operational condition of the house, appliances, vehicles, and equipment, and protection of fundamental rights Maintain an 8‑hour shift with distinct duties by hour block Oversee cleaning duties performed by clients and complete any incomplete cleaning 3pm‑11pm – supervise and assist with menus, food preparation, housekeeping, personal care, laundry, and activities of daily living; plan and coordinate leisure, social, and community activities, including transportation and appointments; assume responsibility for individuals when unable to attend day program; meet deadlines and complete paperwork (reports, logs, receipts, etc.) Be trained by Real House, Inc.’s APN; perform duties of Medication Technician 11pm‑7am – House Manager provided sleeping facilities 7am‑3pm – (7am‑9am) Assist individuals with personal hygiene, dressing, breakfast, and cleanup; (9am‑3pm) Act as on‑call; remain on premises not necessary, but provide reachable contact information Qualifications High School diploma or GED; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to work with diverse populations Good oral and written English skills For individuals in recovery, five‑six years of sustained recovery required Ability to work well within a team environment Computer skills: Microsoft Office and web‑based application Professional telephone etiquette Minimum age 25 years Physical Requirements Lift 50 pounds Occasionally required to stand and walk Certificates and Licenses CPR and First Aid Background check required prior to hire #J-18808-Ljbffr Real House Inc
