Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Plattsburgh, New York. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Intermediate Care Unit, focusing on patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patient recovery and safety. Job Details Position Description: Replacement, need 10/19 start! Assignment 16-26 weeks. Shift Time: Nights Shift Hours: 12 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) minimum of 1 year telemetry experience required; recent Epic experience (within past 2 years) is mandatory; NY license, or proof of application with applied date, required at submission, noting that NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks. Schedule: Monday to Sunday, with no block schedules for any reason. Additional Information: Will be assigned to float team, must work 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Years Day/Eve. Bi-weekly orientations starting 11/02; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required; reliable transportation strongly recommended; vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November to April. Float: Float rotation may be required.
