Travel Long-Term Care Registered Nurse

Travel long-term care registered nurse on a 13-week night shift assignment in or near Marquette, Michigan. Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents while ensuring safety and comfort. Earn competitive compensation and benefits while making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents during night shifts, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to care plans.
• Assess residents' conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed electronic health records in compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care strategies.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
• CPR certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care nursing experience
• Experience with night shift scheduling
• Familiarity with NOC shift protocols
• Ability to work independently during night hours
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability to shift schedules
• Physically able to handle long shifts
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills:

• NIHSS certification
