About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Credit Risk Officer to take on a pivotal role in the strategic leadership of credit risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a scalable credit risk strategy that is in line with the company's rapid commercial growth and regulatory requirements. This executive will also be tasked with maintaining and enhancing the enterprise-wide credit policies, concentration limits, and stress testing frameworks. A key aspect of the role is to oversee the end-to-end credit risk framework, including underwriting standards, CECL allowances, and automated lending platforms, while fostering a data-first, risk-aware culture. Applicants for the Chief Credit Risk Officer position at the company must have a background in credit risk leadership within banking, commercial lending, fintech, or specialized financial services. The role requires comprehensive knowledge in commercial and consumer underwriting, portfolio management, loss mitigation, and complex CECL frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of interacting with regulatory bodies and external agencies, as well as hands-on experience with credit risk models, stress testing methodologies, and model validation standards. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is mandatory, with advanced degrees or professional certifications being preferred. The role demands a leader who can integrate credit risk controls into modern financial frameworks and is adept at leveraging AI and advanced machine learning models for real-time risk identification.
