Utility Operator – Days – $22.80/hr – Old Fort, OH

Pay & Schedule: $22.80/hour | Days | Must be available for any shift during the week, including weekends

Join our Old Fort, OH manufacturing facility producing A&H Baking Soda, A&H Cat Litter, and A&H Unit Dose Detergent. This role keeps the plant running clean, safe, and efficient — handling housekeeping, facility upkeep, and general support functions across departments.

What You'll Do

• Sweep, shovel, and clean production departments, RBC floors, loading docks, and outside areas
• Clean and scrape dryer unit trays during bi-weekly column washes (confined space entry and working at heights with fall protection required)
• Set up the plant cafeteria for meetings and training sessions
• Assemble Cat Litter display pallets per customer orders
• Re-stack/re-palletize up to 50 lb. units to meet customer requirements
• Lift and carry bagged raw materials for Bi-Carb operations
• Handle grounds keeping: mowing, trimming, snow removal, interior/exterior painting
• Sort and remove unusable pallets
• Cross-train in other departments to cover short- and long-term absences
• Safely operate a forklift
• Perform other non-routine duties as assigned

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Manufacturing/Industrial experience required
• Six months forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently
• Familiarity with basic HACCP and plant food safety principles
• Valid driver's license (subject to periodic MVR review)

Steel-toe shoes required; PPE including hearing protection, gloves, and respirator provided as needed.
