About the Role

The Company is in search of a Provost to serve as its Chief Academic Officer, providing strategic leadership to the deans of its various schools and colleges. The successful candidate will be a visionary and mission-centered academic leader, capable of guiding the institution through a period of significant challenges in higher education. This includes adapting to changing enrollment demographics, financial pressures, emerging technologies, and evolving models of education. The Provost will be responsible for stewarding the company's distinctive mission, which integrates academic excellence and Christian commitment, and for shaping an academic environment that is innovative, entrepreneurial, and deeply committed to teaching and research excellence. Candidates for the Provost position at the company must be proven academic leaders with a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree, and an academic record suitable for a tenured full professor. The role requires a leader with a collaborative mindset, financial acumen, and a strong commitment to the values of the institution. The ideal candidate will have experience in strengthening faculty excellence, supporting student success, and aligning institutional resources with strategic priorities. A key aspect of the role is the ability to advance innovation in teaching, research, and service, while preserving the undergraduate experience and Christian mission. The Provost will work closely with executive and administrative colleagues to advance the company's mission and academic profile, and must be a leader of demonstrated Christian faith, with an understanding of the integration of faith, learning, and scholarship in a diverse and international academic community.
